A lover of all things outdoors and active, and creator of Scandi Collective, Jemina Smith earned multiple degrees in Exercise Science after moving from Sweden to the US to pursue a college athletics career playing tennis. Growing up she wanted to become a wildlife photographer traveling the world, and so from an early age she was exploring photography as a possible future occupation. After her career in Sports ended, she made her other lifelong dream come true by becoming a travel photographer.

Photography for Jemina is a way of letting go. Being a perfectionist and athlete, she is used to having high standards and expectations on her, but when she is behind the camera she feels as if though she can trust her intuition and be calm. She is also a woman who will never turn down an invitation to go hiking!
